Just fired up an old PC and found this game inside. Anyone else put any hours into this game back in the day?

I had to push my wagon through a river, while it was on fire with a broken leg, no food, dysentery + typhus. Then I was snakebit when I reached land.

Was a hard winter.

Just pay the damn toll, it's not worth it to raft down the river and die.

I'd lose a member of my travel party to dysentery before we'd made it off the homestead.

I'd always lose one of the oxen because of drought.

Someone would drown when I chose to ford the river.

I never made it to Oregon.

Always get the Indian's help. Not worth the ox drowning.

You killed 287 pounds of meat.

You were only able to take 12 pounds with you in the wagon.

Man I use to love that game... I love watching Monotone Tim stream it. Idk how, but he makes it so fun.

ETA Can Amazon Trail hold a candle to Oregan Trail?

Grueling Pace. Meager Rations. Always Ford the river.

When everybody but one is left. Slow down and cruise to Oregon with plenty of food.

I wish there was a good free mobile version of this on Android. I'm surprised there isn't.

One of the GOAT games.

Anyone have some of the others in their computer lab?

There was one called Sumer where you had to divide up the grain between planting for next year and feeding the people this year.

There was Grandma Nomad where you had to follow a map and try not to get busted for speeding.

There was one where you were a judge and had to sentence defendants after conviction.

Here's a parody called "Organ Trail" that combines Oregon Trail-like gameplay with a zombie apocalypse.
