Who is the best "bro" sidekick in a video game?

Who's a character you wouldn't mind being in your circle of friends? Or someone you'd take with you to the bar. My vote would have to be Garrus from the Mass Effect series. I'm still looking forward to the drinks we're gonna have in the afterlife.

I would rank him slightly above Basch in that category because he has more development (and the Gabranth plot was not that compelling), and way above Ashe because she is extremely bland. Ashe still would have been a better focus than the one we got, though.

Mass Effect has quite a few. Wrex, Grunt, Zaeed, Jacob, Thane, and even Legion and Mordin can be great companions. That's one of the best things about the way Bioware constructed player-crew relationships in those games.

They finally got it right in ME3 where the crew moves around and takes shore leave wherever you are. It's great to hear some of the convos they have.
