I've always found that you always hold your first to a high standard, even if it's undeserving. Quake 2 probably isn't so great in retrospect, but I still think of it highly. I used to love that damn railgun.
I think Halo 2 is a tad overrated since so many people were first exposed to online play with it.

Never was much of an online gamer until I got to be about 16. I got a 360 for Christmas and got Halo 3...sweet Jesus...Wasted two years of my life playing that game.

T-Hunt on LVU Campus all day. I did so much work with the SPAS-12 in that game, it worked better than most sniper rifles.
