I bought a 3DS right after I graduated from college in 2013 and bought Soul Silver, since silver/gold were the last ones I really played, for a whopping $40 and I won't go any further than that in the series. Demon's souls advice anyone. What is better to use short swords or long swords? I have a Bastard Sword and it takes a while to swing.

Well if basic video game logic applies, short swords don't take as long, and long swords require two hands and keeps you from using a shield.
