Uh oh.....Zelda U not listed under 2016 releases for Nintendo

Gist of the article is that Nintendo has games listed in a financial report for release in 2016. Problem is, Zelda U is not listed under any of it. This would mean that in essence, Zelda U will probably be a launch title for the NX and most likely a dual release for the Wii U.
Which also means no ZU until.....2017
Of course it's just a financial report and the release date of the game was never specified to begin with after Aonuma's announcement. But still...what a kick in the arse if it is a 2017 release. It's almost like this is Nintendo's version of HL3.

Didn't they come out and say it's being pushed back to be a release title for the new system?

They said it was pushed back, but didn't specify it would be for a new system. But with Zelda I have the same kind of patience as I did with Dragon Age 3. Just take the time you need to give me the best game you can give me. I don't want a rushed/unfinished Zelda game.

I'm only fine with it if the new system is either really revolutionary or on Par with current Gen systems.

It's looking more like it will get the dual release all the time. At first I thought NX was far off but it keeps getting mentioned by people like square Enix that I start to wonder how soon it might be.

Zelda U has been rumored to be moved to NX. Think this is just another domino in that direction....

That was a statement put out by an unnamed source and spread like wild fire. Even if so, I wouldn't mind exchanging power for accessibility.
I don't need games to look like movies especially given Nintendo's cartoony IP.

No one actually know when it is releasing. It would be Holiday 2016 at the earliest. Considering how bad the Wii U sales are, they can abandon it quickly.

I was looking forward to Xenoblade U and Zelda U but Zelda U being released on the NX (or whatever the hell Nintendo calls their next console) coupled with my gamepad crapping out for no reason ($175 fix) I'll never buy another Nintendo product again.
My Wii U + games and accessories are just collecting dust and one of the accessories doesn't even work

Sale me all of this for $100.
This is a bummer. I still need to actually play through a few Zelda games. I've started and stopped Majora's mask about 3 or 4 times. Windwaker - I've got it on Wii U and got to the second or third island and moved into a new house and haven't picked it back up. Twilight princess and Skyward sword - I've never played. Along with a couple of the older DS releases. I will endeavor to play some of these while waiting.

Since it is a financial report, it could just mean it isn't launching in the fiscal year which ends in September. I could see them waiting for a Holiday launch window to bolster sales as well as give the dev team extra time to polish.
