Finished off final raid boss tonight on our first try after multiple failings last night

The only piece of actual equipment I got was a legendary rocket launcher. The rest of it was Shards or Energy 
It isn't too bad considering the only thing I really need is the raid gear.

We only had one 27 with us last night, but he was with me in the easy part outside of the portals.
We got lucky and the guy we got off of bungielfg.net had apparently done the raid quite a few times and showed us a way to basically cheat the 2nd boss. There is a place off to the side where you can unload on him without him hitting you.
The only issue we had was his swarm up in the middle with the bubble shield and relic shield plan on the final boss didn't work.

I believe you are referring to the vault of glass raid, we are referring to the weekly strike. I can try and run the weekly strike today if anyone is interested.

They patch this? The relic holder could basically create a shield that can be fired through in that middle area followed by bubble shield when time was low.

I think Bungie has a quota of kicks they have to do each day. My Box is in the DMZ so I have 0 issues with games but then last night I cant stay logged in for 5 minutes.
