To prepare for Star Wars TFA, I'm replaying Star Wars games, what is the best?

I really like the force unleashed series. I have a modded ps3 and downloaded both of these tonight. The gameplay is the Star Wars game I always wanted as a kid (over powered force user powers at your disposal) and the graphics are amazing. Add in the fact that you can change the lightsaber crystals and skins to famous Jedi/Sith it's a vastly underrated game IMO, bc the story sucks for the most part.

My other favorite is Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy.

I also like the first 2 Battlefronts (not so much the new one)

KOTOR is good as well but slow.

What are your favorite Star Wars games?

1. SW Galaxies (Private Servers)
2. Jedi Academy
3. KOTOR
4. Battlefront II
5. Rogue Squadron

Who else is taking off of work today? I can not wait. Wanting to go out to the AMC NOW and the movie isn't until 7. Have tickets for 7 and 11:15, but thinking about tailgating.

Tie Fighter is the best Star Wars game ever made as far as I'm concerned.

The wife and I took off of work tomorrow. Dropping the kids off at school for 7 AM, grabbing some breakfast, then heading to the theater for a 9 AM showing. (Then heading back to their school to help with Christmas parties.) I'm pumped.

That is the perfect time to go, 9AM showing. I will go back with my little step brothers, but love the excitement of opening night. Went to III's midnight release alone because everyone though Star Wars was stupid.

I'm seeing it right after work tomorrow, was going to go today at 7 but sold out.

I'm hyped beyond belief. And regardless of the outcome, I'm seeing it again with wife on sat/sunday.

1. Tie Fighter
2. Jedi Academy
3. KOTOR
4. Rogue Squadron
5. Shadows of the Empire (totally underrated)

And I'll also throw a nod out there for Star Wars: Pod Racing. A great racing game for its time.

We have a sitter Saturday night and will be going with another couple.

Trying to be smart on what I see on twitter and facebook for the next couple of days.

I only own the version on CD, which includes full voice acting for all of the cut scenes, mission briefings, and comm chatter during missions not to mention additional missions from the expansions. It's only $9.99 on GOG.com.

LINK

I also still really like the original Dark Forces and Dark Forces 2: Jedi Knight, though they don't hold up that well by today's standards.

KOTOR is the perfect overall Star Wars game.

Jedi knight II and III are the two best "Jedi Simulators." I think JKII has some infuriating and bad design elements, but you can just ignore the campaign entirely and play multiplayer bot match lightsaber duels all day. There are tons of mods available for both games.

Tie Fighter or X-Wing is the best flight sim. The Star Wars Starfighter series (first game in particular) is underrated.

Republic Commando is a really good Star Wars inspired FPS.

It's rough out there. Apparently some people are going out of their way to ruin it for everyone. Why be such an a-hole?

I was in a music store waiting to see The Phantom Menace, and some dipshit decides to shout out "DARTH MAUL GETS CUT IN HALF AT THE END".
