True. I just want to keep my team together for the most part. With an addition to relief pitching and maybe one position player.

It's gonna be crazy for free agents. I was just glancing the other day and it honestly looks like 75% of players will be up for grabs.
Well assuming you don't resign them. But I know I have several players that will be more expensive
Does anybody else use the scouts? I bought the 4 most expensive scouts thinking it would matter but it doesn't seem that way

Haha I feel like my guys discover one player at a time. It's a total waste. I constantly, constantly scout, and I only have scouted about 60 players all year. Feels like a waste. And I have about 12 mil tied up in scouts. I may fire all my scouts so I have an extra 12 for players

I couldn't even figure out how to hire new coaches or scouts so I pretty much let the scouts do whatever they want. I'll go in and give them direction every so often but I pretty much neglected scouting all season. I'm sure I'll regret it during the draft.

I scout all year. Have quite a few guys I have my eyes on in the draft. I probably don't have more than 60 or so players scouted too.
You can set them to scout an area, which will give you a bunch of players on your board. They aren't fully scouted though, so you have to then go in and scout specific guys to really find out how good they are.
I'm sure you could get 200 or so on your board, but they wouldn't be accurate.

Oh trust me, I know how to scout. I play offline franchise just to scout and find players lol. But I have 2 scouts that are 90+ at discovery and 2 scouts that are 90+ accuracy. So I will set those 2 scouts to go in an area, and they find one person. And idk if others are finding the same players or what. I guess we'll find out once the draft happens

Yea. If you fire during the season it still counts against your salary. But you can fire in the offseason and by hire until after FA. You just may have shitty scouts. Tbt's why I'm curious to see what the draft is like. I have like 10-15 guys I would LOVE to have the I've found, but I won't draft til late 1st. So will the computer know all my guys and get them? I have no idea
