Those may be the highest selling but there is so much more than that.

The majority of which you can play on a PC or Mac via services like Steam.

shite, the only thing that will even get me to finally buy a PS4 is Uncharted 4 and that's been delayed umpteen times.

Did this turn into a PC vs console thing?

No, I'm just saying that you can be perfectly fine picking Nintendo system as your console while also getting the bulk of the biggest 3rd party releases on a PC.

You could do the same for XBox or PS4.

There is hardly any point in arguing about 3rd party support b/c most of that stuff is also on PC.

About the only thing you'll miss if you go a Nintendo/PC route are some sports games and EA has been such arse the last several years I stopped caring about their sports games.

But not on Nintendo which is how we got on this conversation.

I disagree. Nintendo has never really needed third party developers to succeed.

That is why PC + Nintendo is the best pairing. The new gen of consoles just lack games.

That list confirms why I did. I own all but 2 of those games and pretty much enjoyed every single one way more than FPS #3,467 or Open World Simulator #2,599 or Sports Game #10,987, of which I do have those on the X1.

Some truths are absolute.

Sorry, comparing to PC which you can find any flavor in multiple cone sizes.

You are right, they lack exclusives.

That's a bit far.

I mean, is anyone actually trying to say that the Wii U lineup is better than the Dreamcast? Surely not.

"Amazing" is an interesting qualifier.

Not to mention it's a very liberal inclusion of several mediocre games and games that aren't actually exclusive.

Meh. ZombiU might have still been an exclusive at the time that image was made. Wind Waker HD maybe a remake, but it is still a damn good game and was overlooked by many during its initial debut on the GCN.

Outside of ZombiU, I wouldn't call any of the games mediocre. The lowest scores are 78 and 77. The rest are all above 81.

That is all.

I bought the Wii U and it was basically an XBox 360 from a performance standpoint. Glitches sucked, but the Wii U Pad is genius. I wish other gaming systems would do it. It's awesome.

Wii U has a couple great to good games and a lot of filler. No "3D Mario" is inexcusable after we had two on the Wii. After Splatoon released Nintendo came out with some of their worst games in the last decade, still don't know what they were thinking with the Animal Crossing spinoff.

Splatoon was the surprise for me on the console the rest was mostly retreads or sequels that were not as good as their counterparts (excluding Tropical Freeze and Pikman 3 which are a good step up from previous games). Nintendo is in a situation now where they're trying to grab children's attention in spite of what fans want, and it's costing them on both ends because kids don't really give a shite outside of Pokémon. You have to remember they started off as a children's toy company, I truly believe they don't know how to react to changing demographics or maybe they just refuse to.

Is super mario 3d world not a 3d mario?

Yes, but it's not really a 3D Mario in a sense that it's a successor to Mario 64, Sunshine, Galaxy, and Galaxy 2. 3D World is more like a 3D interpretation of New Super Mario Bros.

That's why I put it in quotation marks, because to me and many other fans of Mario it wasn't. Main reasoning is the single player wasn't anywhere near as expansive as Mario's previous entries even going back to 64. The game was designed with four player co-op in mind and the level design suffered because of that in my opinion. Not to mention the game is a cluster frick when you have four people playing.

Galaxy doesn't have much open exploration, it's pretty much individual 3D levels on a basic map like 3D World. And Sunshine is pretty off the wall.

Just be honest, what yall really want is Mario 64 2.
