I want to put a bullet in Sam Coes head. We're in the middle of a shootout with 20 something 1st Calvary bad guys and this dude keeps interrupting saying he wants to talk about his feelings. Then I need to swap gear with him because I'm overloaded and it won't let me get to that until I listen to (or click skip 15 times) his entire bullshite sob story.
The only reason I brought him along is because the interactions in the quest line are better since he knows most of the NPCs personally. But Jesus Christ never again.

i finished up the msq quite awhile ago and just doing side stuff now.
really contemplating if i even do a ng+. i know there are changes to the story and events with it, but everything ive seen is just some stupid flavor text.
id say this is probably my least favorite Bethesda offering in quite some time, or hell, period. (i didnt play fallout 76).
i enjoyed it dont get me wrong, but its nothing special. they really really need to do something different and fresh for the next elder scroll game coming out.

So i decided to pause my MSQ action based on what I read. I've decided to play out the game and make this first world my "main world" and then at some point I'll complete the MSQ and move into the NG+, weather I decide to do it or not. That seems to be a non obvious option, just stay in the main world or build out your world in NG+.
The world is just so large, I'll spend a lot of time exploring. I decided to pause doing quest and dive into outpost building and man oh man, id dove in hard, but its fun trying to build everything and do crafting is addicitng.

I'm only at level 35 / kind of early in main quest but wouldn't it make sense to make your main world one or two NG+ in so you have access to all the skills you want?

The main party members complain too much. Picked up Ezekiel and he not as bad. I also just got Amelia Earhart through a decent side quest I picked up from a random side conversation.

What do you mean? By not building out my world in NG+, im just not getting the "powers", if you mean that by skill. I thought about this and maybe id want some, but to me they just make you crazy powerful and building out the world is part of the fun. I could seeing me doing it at some point with "god" like powers in NG+

I prefer my Bethesda games to allow me to continue playing post MSQ, but if the game has to have a definitive ending, the only way to "beat" the game should not be centered around starting New Game Plus.

I went with Amanirena. I think you get Earhart if you side with Amanirena or FDR. I'll redo THAT decision if I ever do NG+. I have 1 or 2 missions left in the main quest but it seems like I have only been to 1/2 of the systems. Maybe 1/3 of the planets LV47. I already have a starbound ship, which I cant get rid of and I took another ship during space combat, spent 200k changing it and it doesnt show up at any port when I select it.

To clarify my post, he's not a companion. You just let him loose and he and his crew are basically pirating around and he shows up in orbit to talk to you every once in a while. Each time I see him his level has jumped up a good bit, haha. I still have Earhart as a companion.

Game completely bricked on me during the undercover mission with the crimson fleet. Im stuck on their space station with no way to access my ship.
My ship switched with another in my fleet that was landed on Jemison. Now when I try to board it, it teleports me underneath the ground at the Jemison spaceport and I can’t do anything.

MSQ ending for me was super anti-climactic because I had an auto-persuade banked and used it on the Hunter, they gave me all the artifacts and the game was over just like that.
Did all the stuff to marry Sarah but then after I committed I got cold feet and now she’s getting on my nerves. Might NG+ just to marry Andreja instead.

I did too many side quests. Got to a point where I couldn’t continue without marrying her. Did the next quest and she died I was dying laughing.
