Yeah, this is a good tip. If you load up the same exact team in the same exact order, the battle is going to play out the exact same way (assuming you make the same moves). So if the other team starts with a fury of big crits and stuns and shite, shuffle your team around and it might be better.

Also, I read once that your GW opponents are pulled from your "neighbors" in the arena. In other words, high arena rank equals tough GW opponents. I can't say how accurate this is, but if enough of us start paying attention to our arena rank and GW difficulty, there might be some truth to it.

Might want to consider farming Lumi to replace JC. She's stronger all-around and easier to farm.

And I can't get into the top 500 in my pool.

And yea. Doubt I stay top 10. I just had a plan farming so I got the good characters like Poe before most. Teams are getting better and better each day.

Damn you must be getting tons of crystals. I always thought if I could get in the top 10 and farm crystals it would be best to get the 8 packs of cards to get shards of the characters. I dunno tho since crystal farming is slow for I just use a extra hundred a day to farm in the cantina

Your pool is probably all meta guys at this point. That is why yours is tough. Everyday that passes gets tougher because of the pool system they use.

I am with guys using some bad character choices as most I fight are lv 45-50.

I am sure everyone picks me to fight when trying to move up as my power is about 1000 less than everyone. I just have a good team right now, as all were quick to farm and got Cade in a pack. Once people get who they want, I am sure to drop down.

I just read them. Maybe I'll be able to beat dark 5A(hard) since Talia and Oppress are both getting slight buffs (I don't have Daka, and I'm putting off farming her while I work on QGJ). This patch also makes me happy in my decision to keep up that long farm for QGJ with the Jedi event coming up. Here are my Jedi:

7* Lumi
4* Mace
3* QGJ
3* JC
3* Aayla
2* Ahsoka
2* JK Guardian

It will probably take me a while to get 5 of them to 5* or higher, especially since Aayla is p2p. I might have to try to pick up Eeth Koth if getting both QGJ and Ahsoka to 5* takes too long.

Who is the new Jedi supposed to be? Yoda?

He is still nearly as useful as he always was, the nerf isn't too bad. They didn't even touch the parts that make him (possibly) OP: his speed, and his taunt ability that reduces enemy turn meters. And Poe is only really good when you put him with the right team, it seems. He needs a couple of "glass cannons" behind him to really shine. Basically Poe goes right after the really fast guys like Sid and Dooku, so right off the bat he can taunt and reduce most of the enemy team's turn meters. So then even the slowest heavy hitter behind Poe gets to go before the other team, and often that's enough to take down at least one enemy. Once you're at 5-4, it's pretty much game over. The part getting nerfed is his "expose" ability, which lets you do more damage to enemies, but I don't think that's going to kill Poe's usefulness in the arena.

More concerning for a lot of Poe users, I think, is they are also nerfing FOTP.

I do the same thing. The characters will come along as you play the game, staying at the top end of the level range in your server/pool and gearing your guys up is more important. I do buy the occasional pack for fun though when I have crystals built up. I've gotten Poggle and QGJ through these.

That is solid. Did you buy the starter pack that gave you the 3 droids? I was tempted to but didn't.
