Kork, your Luminara is responsible for getting me through most of my light side levels. At 43 I was able to 3star 5d for mk6 blastech piece.

I'm getting close to getting Sid, Luminara, and poe.

Everyone should get Geo soldier and level him ASAP. So good. He helped me blast all the way through GW for the first time yesterday.

Also, I think someone covered it earlier but if a GW battle doesn't go your way, retreat and try again. So helpful

I see a lot of strong teams using Poe. Players like him mainly because his taunt reduces enemy turn meters. That's good and all, it definitely helps you to get an edge, but it doesn't really help my team much. Maybe he would be better for me if I leveled him a bunch, but I prefer Han anyway. Han's taunt gives me a MASSIVE advantage. Han's taunt boosts all my turn meters 25% right away, and then every time Han takes damage my guys get another 20% turn meter. I basically get twice as many attacks as the other guys while his taunt is active. He is especially strong against Dooku, since Dooku likes to bonus attack all the time so my team gets a 40% turn meter boost.

I went for him because I didn't know Han was good and because I really like his expose for %hp damage on high hp guys.

Well I just got Poe randomly from that pack the tutorial made me buy. How do you get Han or grind for any players you guys have been talking about? DO I just do the hard missions over and over that drop their coins or whatever?

You probably haven't unlocked some of the features yet. The fastest farming is from Galactic War shipments (this is where Lumi and Phasma are, among others), I usually get 15 shards per day from those. You mentioned getting them from hard mission drops, but you are limited to 3 attempts per day. The Cantina missions also drop shards, and there is no limit per day other than energy. I've been getting 5-10 Kylo shards per day just from drops. The Cantina also has shipments, and it takes me like 3 days to buy 5 shards, so that's slow going (this is where Poe and QGJ are, among others). There are also Arena shipments, and I get 5-10 per day from those (this is where you find Sid and Han, among others).

Looks at the shipments. There are shipments you can get with galactic march tokens, squad arena tokens, and cantina tokens. Find which shipments give the characters you want and spend the tokens on those characters until you get them.

I think Han is a squad arena character. I didn't realize his taunt gave so much turn meter. I might be farming him up next. I just got Vader and I'm not super impressed.

I would recommend it, especially if your team/strategy relies on lots of hits and/or heals. I think the Poe-based teams line him up with hard-hitting "glass cannons" that can knock out an opponent or two before they even take a turn, then after that there's no chance to win 3-on-5.

I got him a couple weeks ago, and I feel the same. He's just not strong enough at the stock 4*, and he's going to take forever to star up. On the bright side, you earn his shards just by playing the game, so he'll get there eventually.

Question about the modifiers when leveling up. They increase with each star level correct? Well since it looks like it is a multiplier that is it better to wait to level up until after you get higher in stars, or do the stats just jump up to how they would be if he had that modifier from lv 1?

The stats jump when you promote to a higher star level. It doesn't matter whether you level then star, or star then level... the result is the same. Same goes for gear... there is no advantage to waiting.

The only thing to be concerned about when leveling is be sure not to waste your training droids when you hit your level cap. Either keep your guys one level behind, or very carefully use smaller and smaller droids to just barely hit the max level.

Also, everyone make sure you are logged into the game. Usually when they do updates, you get logged out and have to do the tutorial again, as if the game forgot your progress. Just finish the tutorial, then log in again. If you never log in, you might lose all of your progress after an update.

Plus if you log in everyday for 30 days, you get a nice chunk of credits and some Vader shards. that gives me 13 days to frick up on that bonus.

So I'm going to talk up Han a bit more. I was on the last stage of GW, but Han had half health and 3 turns left on his taunt cooldown, so I didn't even think about using him. I tried 5 or 6 combos of other guys and kept getting my arse kicked. So I threw Han in there as a last ditch effort before resetting, and I won EASILY. I didn't even need his taunt because his passive abilities are so good. Whenever he takes damage, he has a 25% chance to knock 10% energy off each enemy. He also has 25% chance to knock off 25% just because his turn comes around.

Maybe he just works really well with my other guys, but I honestly don't know why he doesn't rank higher on all the rankings I see.

That is pretty nuts. I don't have a good tank yet. Just chewie, the red guard and jedi guardian. Definitely going to get Han because he is so easy to get.

What's everybody's arena rank?

I've always hung around the 1000-1200 range, but the last few days I've been a little more "serious" about it and I'm in the top 700. I'm pretty sure you get grouped with players who started around the same time as you, so I'm with one of the older groups. I don't think I'll ever get into the high ranks.

Squad arena? or is there some other arena I will unlock later?

As of right now I am rank 174.

And all I use is Chewy, Talia, Cad Bane, Jawa, Jedi Counsular. As I have not got shite good yet.

So if that is what you are talking about I think you are correct with your grouping.
