You don’t need deluxe to play. Just having an Origin account gets you in the “trial” for 10 hours of access that carries over to launch Friday

I preordered the ps4 version. I did mess arou d with early access on the PC, but Frostbite just doesn't like my computer.

Origin isn't as polished as Steam, but Frostbite engine games run like crap. At least initially, it's a pretty darn near constant 60 FPS then the longer I play I start experiencing 2-3 second freezes. Eventually it gets so bad that the game becomes unplayable.
It's a combination of memory leak and my processor being a bit long in the tooth. My 970 GPU is fine.

More games should take the Titanfall 2 approach and shower the player with unlocks. Progression was really slow in Battlefront 1 and there really wasn't all that much worth unlocking in the first place. The Battlefront 2 approach with locking everything behind hours and hours of playtime seems even worse.

That's all I did and you can play the trial version. Origin is like $5 a month but you can cancel later and you get the game for $54 so it’s a wash. I DID NOT buy the deluxe and played for 3 hours yesterday so ignore the people saying you need it.

What I’ve done so far was faster than I expected tbh. Granted those quests and things are 1x only. The game is fun and I don’t feel without despite not having everything available. I’d rather have stuff to look forward to than clear every single thing available in under 2 weeks

You mother frickers are dense as hell.
You get 3 days early access if you get the deluxe version.
You can play 10 hours of a "trial mode" if you have or pay for EA access.
If you buy the regular version, you cannot play until the 17th.
