Pretty stoked for this to be honest. Seems like they've catered to the fans more, especially since you can defend your title now.

I wish I could get into the newer games. I just feel like they've added too much bullshite. I couldn't go any further than Soul Silver/Heart Gold (which are my two favorites) since they still have all the originals in the game as well.

Like can I still get a squirtle, charmander and bulbasaur in this thing?

Just got both. Shitty for Nintendo to hold all time zones to a midnight release

Never played a Pokemon game in my life (except for GO). Figured I'd see what the fuss is about, then re-gift it to my kid for Christmas

U need either a 2ds or any of the different 3ds models. If you are on the fence on getting it the whole game has been already leaked. Just look online and see if you like the new additions to the franchise.

Just picked up both copies. Started on Moon and went with Rowlet. Gonna play through before I decide which starter to go with on Sun.

Not sure how I feel about the fixed camera, but maybe it will grow on me.

A new version of Pokémon Sun and Moon will launch for Nintendo Switch according to Eurogamer.

quote:

Multiple sources tell Eurogamer the game is already well into development, will launch in 2017, and currently holds the codename of Pokémon Stars.

quote:

Expect the Switch version of Sun and Moon to feature the same map - the same routes and cities - and the same art style, although be built using separate, higher-resolution assets.

It may be some time before Stars releases, however. We heard the game was initially a summer 2017 launch for Nintendo Switch, but has since been pushed back to later in the year.

quote:

As for Pokémon Sun and Moon - it's your choice whether you want to play the game now or wait the best part of a year for Stars on Switch - or get both.

Either way, the 3DS version comes highly recommended: "Tearing up the rulebook but bringing back the fun, Pokémon Sun and Moon make for the best generation in more than a decade," Chris Tapsell wrote in Eurogamer's Sun and Moon review, which awarded the games a rare Essential rating.

So stars will be like yellow, crystal, Emerald, and Platinum of this gen. I would expect some new additions and better graphics.

I have to say that this rival is the lamest one ever. He picks the type weaker than yours? He's just overly cheerful about everything? Give me a break. We need a rival like Blue or Silver again. Hopefully there's a twist where the girl in white is your actual rival and trying to sabotage you.

The last version of Pokemon i played was crystal. Will i have any chance of hitting the ground running with this game or is it just too different from the old stuff?

I don't really have the time to learn a bunch of new shite.

The only thing really different since then is the fairy type, Pokemon have abilities, and natures.
