Interesting. Would explain a lot of the Paper Mario exposure going around lately.

I don't hate Paper Mario or anything, but frick man. We need another Mario game like Galaxy or Sunshine. Not saying have a Super Mario Sunshine 2 or Galaxy 3 but get another 3D Mario adventure game going. It would be cool if they did one in the Mushroom Kingdom

Agreed, no 3D Mario this generation sucked.

I don't count SM3DW.

In Nintendo's defense there was a lot of people all "we are so sick of the same thing over and over again" so they gave us the mashup that was sm3dw, and Mario maker... They are actually trying to give us new things I guess

I don't think anyone was tired of Super Mario Galaxy. Even though Galaxy 2 was great, it wasn't exactly the 3D adventure people were looking for.

I like just about every Mario game except for Galaxy. That shite gives me headaches and makes me want to vomit.

It was exactly what I was looking for in a 3d Mario game and one of the best games of last gen. I love Galaxy 1 but 2 had even better level design and they got rid of the irritating hub world that wasted a lot of time between stages in 1.

What kind of Mario game are you hoping for? What did Galaxy 2 lack?

The theme and location was what I was referring to. They already did space. I was hoping there would be another location. And sir, I have to disagree with you on the lookout from Galaxy 1. That to me is what makes it better than Galaxy 2.

Galaxy was some legit game design. Both were flat out brilliant.

Paper Mario is meh for me. I know a lot of people are excited for it,

We'll just have to agree to disagree here. Galaxy 1's starship hub world really had no secrets to uncover or interesting gameplay to experience. Super Mario 64 tried the same thing but to much greater effect. Heck, even Sunshine did it better. I would have preferred they improve the hub in Galaxy 2 but they chose, instead, to simply remove it (more or less). And I can't pinpoint why, but I just enjoyed Galaxy 2's level design a little more.

Regardless, both are fantastic games and I'd be totally happy with a Galaxy 3 even if it was half as brilliant as those first 2 games were.

As far as Paper Mario goes, I haven't enjoyed one of those since The Thousand Year Door, which was a lot of fun with great writing. I'm hesitant to get excited for one of those coming to the Wii U.
