Rift not patching to 1.3

Anyone else who plays have this problem? I havent had an issue with Rift not running correctly until today. Ive tried to manually update my patcher, but it doesnt seem to be working. My connection has been unstable lately (thanks Comcast

Yeah i can't patch either. Maybe it hasn't gone live yet, but the servers are up. Also what server you on and toons name? Foghat= Belmont here.

Just read that it's a bad patch and will be up soon.

All servers are still down as of 12:15. Wouldn't expect the patch to be available to download until they bring the servers up again.

Any of you guys on a server that has a decent population? I'm on Perspice right now, but will be moving to a new server fairly soon I imagine. The economy on that server is stupid, nothing sells on the AH and nothing is ever available to purchase on the AH. We have a shite ton of people who do nothing but run T1 and T2 instances and almost nobody raiding it seems like. Just getting tired of a shite population.

Belmont is great. people everywhere, but never a Q. I'm not sure if you would be able to transfer over though. They might have it blocked so it doesn't over populate.

Im not sure of the population on our server compared to others, but i dont have a problem with it. Me and bamabenny are in the same guild, and most of what they do is run dungeons...I will too once it hit 50. PVP is alright. Rifting isnt that active. AH is pretty active.

We play on Byriel. Currently have an active raiding roster of 15-17 barring absences and late people. Been doing GSB, but because of lack of numbers, we're stuck on second boss (Johlen). He's the first real gear/dps check in there, so we're having problems getting him down before the damage gets out of control. Got him to 2% on our best attempt last week.
We used to run a shitton of t2 dungeons, but mostly everybody is geared up and we're just focusing on doing the raid rifts for upgrades essences and odd gear drops. Think we're picking up another 2 or 3 today through server transfers, so hopefully our numbers will look a little bit better.

Doldil, how many people are you talking about that are looking for transfers? Byriel is fairly populated, but I wouldn't know much about queue times. If I'm running a t2 (don't do many these days), I usually put together a faceroll guild group and run them in 40min or so.

We had 5 IRL that were playing together, but 2 have sort of dropped off. I play the most out of the 3 of us remaining by far, but even that is casual. I really want to go somewhere I can do some raiding (who wants a bard??) but I can't do the scheduled raiding stuff. My wife works in the restaurant industry so when she's off at night I don't play and her off days are so random I don't want to commit myself to an actual raid schedule.
I hardly ever que up for t2 runs, simply because I hate pickup groups. I prefer to run with people I know don't suck at the game vs people who's only fun is tossing around their epeen and telling people they aren't good enough.

We usually raid Tues, Thurs, and Sunday, but if you can't commit to anything, we're always looking for extra numbers when you can be on. Currently on offnights we're doing a lot of raid rifts and just started messing around in the 10 man sliver last night. We have a full time bard, but he can't be there all the time. Also, if you're even semi geared, we have a rogue here that has to be the best theorycrafter I've ever seen. He has a few builds posted that our other dps rogues picked up and are easily throwing around huge numbers on raids.

I might check it out, if I'm not playing a bard I run as a sab/arse/bd which is some stupid dps. I'm still saving up plaques for t2 gear and wasting time in King's breach trying to finish up my bard gear (healing trinket). appreciate the info man

You want the healing trinket from Dichrom in DSM. Makes bard heals stupid good. Our bard has that trinket and he's throwing out raid heals like it's going outta style. T1s arent even worth stepping foot into these days.

I wouldn't be against taking all you guys in, as long as you can do simple mechanics like..dont stand in fire and stack on tank, simple shite like that that some people just don't seem to get.

What's this DSM you speak of? The trinket from KB (t1) is like 900 and some change heals over 12 sec. Which is better than the greater source stone (crystal vines) you get from turning in a major rift event reward (but they can stack so having them both is a major bonus) but I've only run a handfull of t2's so obviously there is quite a bit of stuff I haven't seen.

DSM = Deepstrike Mines. Before the t2 nerfs, it was easily the hardest dungeon. Pretty much a joke now though. The KB trinket is good, but the Dichrom one procs more and has far more usefulness in raids. Heirloom of the Eth? I can't remember the name of it offhand, but I know our bards camped it after researching which would be better. I think this one procs an insta 700 heal on two nearby targets when it goes off. Proc rate is MUCH higher than the KB one, from what I'm told.
