There objective locations for each map vary by round so even with the relatively small number of maps it does not get old. The map rotation does sometime suck though.

Can someone explain how DLC works? I just got the game yesterday and I got the Gold Edition. I redeemed the code and unlocked some stuff, but do I have to download anything or does the game automatically update when they release the DLC?

yeah... you will go on runs where its like you can't do anything right. If you play in a consistent lobby with the same opponents you start to get an idea for their strategy.
Played one where they would set a sniper in the opposite building because they knew you most likely wouldnt try to clear that one.
