theducks and I just played a good game. His Blazers beat my Kings 56-55 on a three by Lillard with under 10 seconds. I got the ball to DeMarcus Cousins after a timeout (who was 12-13 from the floor), but theducks wisely doubled him. I kicked it back out to Darren Collison for a game winning three, but it clanked off iron.
theducks is a good player and there were no shenanigans. I look forward to our next game. If anyone else is around, I'm just chilling at the house and could get another game or two in.

The first user game has been played! Blazers vs. Kings.
The Blazers would jump out to a 21-14 lead but the Kings kept pounding inside with Cousins. 27-24 at the half.
The second half, CJ McCollum made Portland's first 3 baskets, resulting in 7 points. With 3 to go in the 4th, Portland was up 49-40 but even then, they couldn't stop the steady play of Demarcus Cousins. He had a career night, 25 pts, 6 Rebs, and 3 stls. The Kings took the lead with :25 to go after a Caulley Stein layup. Portland called a play to get Lillard open off of a screen. Once Lillard had the ball in his hands, he took the dagger 3. BANG! 56-55, :9 left. Cousins got the ball in the post but passed back out to Collins to shoot the semi contested shot that clanked off the rim.

I want to also add, I simmed the CPU's first 5-6 games. Most of us are 6-7 games in now. Pretty good start.

Just lost to the Heat 60-58. Bosh hit a 16 footer with a hand in his face. It hit the front and back of the rim and fell in. Luckily I wasn't drunk, otherwise I would have thrown the controller.

Only being a season by season thing pretty much kills it for me. That's the dumbest thing I ever heard of for an online league. My main reason for joining was bc I love building a team, and playing every game. But 82 is just too many to play every single one in an offline my gm. This would have already taken a back seat to a madden franchise I'm in, as well as cod now, but this pretty much assures my interest will be lost really quick.

Yeah man, it pretty much did for me too. From what Ive read, it sounds like next year's game should have it but 2k has been broken with online league last few years.
I'm pushing for a fantasy draft next. Should get more users with that.

The season is less than 40 games. As far as the roster stuff goes, I can't say I disagree. I do feel, however, that finding a league with legit, no-bullshite players is tough. So, why not find out if we have that, and change the setup as we go along, if need be?

I agree with all of this. When I was young teenager with no life outside of school and playing actual basketball with my friend, I was in the #1 2K11 league. 2k11 had a reset after every season. It's a lot of fun even if we can get it even 1/3 of it full. It beats playing the Warriors or Cavs in every online game.

Was up 8 in the middle of the 4th versus the Magic and game just cutout and the PS4 said there was an application error

Sounds fun, i just don't understand the "rules" to counter the "pet peeves" of the commish. I play to win.
