That was one of my main reasons in starting an online franchise. I really wanted to play every game. But I wanted to do it with other users and have meaning to building my team. Otherwise, I'd tank and sim the reason, get a top pick, pick up a good FA, then have a 50 win team

It all depends on play style or what team you like. I cannot play as a team other than Portland. Whereas in Madden, I'm a big Broncos fan, but I don't mind being the Saints, Browns, etc..
Also, I don't think you remember our last game. You quit in the 3rd when it was 38-0 after trying to move the ball using Empty formations all game lol

how do user games work if we can play any game any time?

If you want to do a user game, just schedule one whenever you'd like. Contact the guy you want to play and get a time. Just like Madden.

So I did some research....
At the end of the season, we have the option to opt in for a 2nd season. But no off-season stuff from what I'm understanding. There doesn't seem to be an FA period from what I'm reading or a draft? Anybody else know more?
If that's true, we can be more lax with trades after our 10th game or so. Or would anyone be down with a fantasy draft?

Are you sure that the FA period and draft and stuff isn't on MyGM mode? and not myLeague?

We're in myleague and I know for certain that it is mygm. I mean, it shows contracts. There should be an FA period and draft. But I've found nothing saying there is for an online league.
Also, the grizzlies are tough as hell! I had luckily built up a lead of 10+ in the 3rd otherwise I would lost. I went almost a whole quarter without making a jumper. I had one diminution 2min left. They took the lead however did nothing with it. I called a play for CJ to hit a 3 and he did. I got lucky a few other times then Conley lost the ball. Conley is not agressive at all offensively. If youre having trouble penetrating good defensive teams, id hold off on the Grizz.

I played my first game as the Pels last night. I'm not sure what sliders and settings you used, but I really liked them. I played a great game against the Magic. I was leading early, but the Magic took over in the 2nd and 3rd. I was able to keep the score within 8 and then I took over in the 4th. Didn't think I was going to have a chance to win with the way half of the game went, but I ended up pulling away late.
I attempted to make a few trades and it didn't appear to be any options to trade for draft picks. Was I just missing it, or do we not have the ability to trade away picks?
Will try to get some more games in this weekend. I love the way the scheduling sets up because I may have to go a few days without playing and then will be able to play quite a few games in one night.

Yeah the sliders are a basic version of what I've developed over the years. I usually tweak just about everything for a sim experience and I cater more to the defensive side too. I figured id take some of that and read some Op sports and apply that. Very glad to hear you liked it.
There is no offseason. I can either go to year two, which starts us out with thw roster we have at that moment or we can do a reset. If we went the reset route, id look for some more members on other sites to join and for sure do a groupme. If we can pick up a few guys on the fence here, that would be awesome too.

Those are the options. So if you trade tyreke for a real SF or you'd have him on your team in "season 2" if we opt to go thst route.
