I bought a PS3 a few years ago to play The Show. Recently wanted to play The Show again so I fired up the old PS3 and downloaded the last version they have. I enjoy it but also looking to see what else I missed.

I played through the Uncharted and Infamous games already. I just downloaded The Last of Us and God of War I and II.

Are there other PS3 exclusives I should look into? There aren't a whole lot of options in the online store that appeal to me. It was pretty much just the God of War series and I heard great things about The Last of Us.

I mostly play XBOX1 and I'm not interested in getting a PS4 at this point. Last year's version of The Show is the driving force behind firing up the PS3 and is good enough to get my RTTS fix that will last maybe a month. God of War I was decent fun so I'm looking into anything good I missed.

NCAA '14 is the only reason why I still have my PS3 hooked up.

What about God of War 3 and God of War Ascension? Those games were enough to justify my PS3 purchase.

Demon's Souls is another one

I only played the PS4 remaster of The Last of Us but it was great. The Killzone series is pretty good if you like sci fi shooters.

Why type of games do you like? There's so many games out there for PS3, so give a bit of direction and I'll see if I can't recommend a few.

I bought the God of War I and II as a package for $15. I'm sure I'll look at the next games in the series after that.

I'm somewhat broad in what I like. Sports games are covered by my XBOX1 except for The Show.

I like games with a lot of action. Sandbox games like GTA are a lot of fun.

Witcher is an all time favorite and not something I thought I was going to like. That's opened me up to other games like Dragon Age and Shadow of Modor. I typically stayed away from fantasy type or sci fi games, but now I'm open to them. I used to only like games where my foe was human.

Tomb Raider and Uncharted type games are fun.

I don't like racing or driving games. Ratchet and Clank is popular but doesn't look like my cup of tea...but I'm open to games if everyone says it's something not to miss.

Buy the old Crash Bandicoot games on PS3. They're PS1 classics for less than $10 each. Great games.

God of War series, Bayonetta, Devil May Cry 4 are all more traditional action games. You may some more story driven ones in Heavenly Sword, Folklore, Enslaved: Odyssey to the West, and the Dead Space series.

Could also look into Dragon's Dogma, which just got announced for PS4 this week. inFamous 1+2 are both good open world games. You also can consider the Yakuza series as well. Sleeping Dogs and Darksiders are also worth playing.

Some of the ones I've mentioned can fit that mold, but the Prince of Persia game is kinda similar and also fantastic.

Well, they should be pretty cheap by now. I would recommend trying "A Crack in Time" at the start. I think it's the best in the series.

My other general recommendations are Metal Gear Solid 4, Assasin's Creed II, Bioshock series, Portal 2, LittleBigPlanet, Demon's Souls, and Dark Souls.
