Do your Batmans first in preparation for Origins.

Then finish 2033 to play Last Light. I pushed Last Light to the side for a long long time based on my options of 2033. It was a bad decision, Last Light is one of the best games out of the Triple AAA titles. Not because of the story but again the world it puts you in.

So when they say they have all those refreshed cards is that like what nvidia just did with the 700 series?

I was hoping for a complete new series. Well, I guess my 2 7970 and my gf 7950 will be good for another 2 years.

I have been working on a large backlog to and here is my advice, play what you want. I rushed through and didn't enjoy some games because they were next on the list. i am dropping the backlog to play GTAV right now, because I want to. I quit playing AC3 even though it was on my list because it fricking sucks, and I am much happier for it.

R9 280 or R9 280X?

Hopefully 290x or 290. I've decided I'm just going to buy a cheap $50 card like 550 ti or 7770 to hold me over

It is a completely new series.

What we mean by "refresh" is that they will use Tahiti chips and past chips for the lower end cards. The top tier will have the new Hawaii chips.

Both nVidia and AMD use past gen chips and just tweak them a by enabling/activating/deactivating. so they come in at a lower price point with upgraded cooling.

Hence nVidia's 750 Ti/760 are past gen Kepler chips with less SMXs.

This is how they always treat refreshes and yes they are all refreshes with new chips for the top tier.

Nope I'm not going to be full looping until I have all of my parts. I still don't know my rad situation yet because I can't fit a 240 rad in the prodigy without removing the 5.25 bay, and I'd really like to use a 5.25 rad so it'll be more secure for movement

Reasonable video card to pair with a Core2Quad? Passmark bench has the chip about equal with an i3-2100, but of course the core2 only supports DDR2 ram. just asking bc I got the chip and mobo for free.

I just got the mobo and CPU in. Someone at the USPS tried to cut the side of the box to steal some shite. You can see where they slit it with a razor then tore the rest of the side open. Whoever it was is a fricking moron though because they dropped the razor in the box. Probably thought there would be something small they could slip out like a phone or tablet when they saw that it said CPU on the post office sticker. I was worried because I didn't see the CPU at first but then I saw that you left it in the mobo luckily.
