I want to see how truly "unlocked" these chips are. It seems Intel doesn't want people overclocking as much these days. They might all need to be delidded.

Unlike ivy and haswell, the IB-E chips will have a soldered IHS. No need for delidding.

Yeah, and I think it will stay that way by design. Intel wanted it to be the enthusiast platform, but we "enthusiasts" knew that we could push so much out of the sandy bridge chips that there was no reason to pay a premium for the other platform. So ivy bridge got shitty TIM, as did haswell. Eventually they'll make the chips harder to delid.

I have been all over SWLA the past few days. Well over 200 miles covered each day. Yesterday was all the way down to Lake Arthur and today was all the way up to Turkey Creek.

I sold my gas station over 18 months ago and it burned down about 2 months ago. I do still have a slush puppy machine in my shop though with the syrup and flavoring. I also have a fountain drink machine and a commercial pizza oven.
