100C? What do Intel CPUs auto shut down at, 102C?

Wow, that is extremely warm.

Edt: Everything okay?

Swiftech still under warranty? I think it's for 12 months.

It seems to be fine, I just need recommendations on a good air cooler.

It's not under warranty and it probably wouldn't matter my experience with Switftech customer service was horrible in the past. The window cracked in like two months and they wouldn't send me a $3 part, instead they wanted me to pull it and send it in for repair.

I told you to check that a long time ago when you were reporting single digit fps. That's how you damage CPUs.

I asked for recommendations a long time a go to replace it. In fact I have asked twice now but nobody has any.

I wouldn't pat yourself on the back so fast, you are the one that recommended the Swiftech that crapped out and the 970's that turned out to be less than advertised.

Oh shtt!

Tbh at the time, almost anyone would have recommended those 970s. Believe they might have been the best option available if cheaping out on a non flagship chip.

As for the Swiftech, I would have stayed away but that is mostly because im a custom loop person. That unit did have insanely good reviews.

Is everything okay though? Have you swapped the Intel or another cooler on to test? You should be fine, but I believe you had been 2C away from that Intel Auto-Shutdown temp.

Definitely don't get that Noctua then. Your PC is cursed and/or has aids.

Srsly though, I'm probably just going to stop recommending all-in-one liquid coolers completely. They have too many potential points of failure for very little benefit.

I've owned several closed looped systems over the years and they perform on par with one a D12. Plus, they are usually noisy to boot.

D5s lack that high wine noise all DDCs seem to have.

Seems to be ok I have a temp air cooler in now until my new one arrives, playing W3 and no problems. Turned off my OC.
