I'm in the market for a GPU upgrade as well. Still rocking the one I originally had with my first build 4 years ago.

Should I have any problems with this build? I hope not since I have already bought all the parts. I'll be popping my master race cherry with this so I'm a little nervous it being my first time. I only ended up paying $346 for everything.

Is that the vid card you already had?

Other than that it looks OK. I would have spent the little extra for the 8350 and I would just pirate a copy of Windows.

A buddy is giving me the card and a copy of windows, and the CPU was only $100. Thanks for the input.

I finally built my PC. My buddy actually had two 6870 GPUs that i'm going to run in crossfire. So far I can't believe I waited so long to build a PC. Thanks for all the advice fellow gaming board people.

We tried, but the cable just wasn't long enough.
