What choice do I have? Honestly I'm doing better now than I was Saturday. It's a lot easier when she is improving as opposed to declining.

Exactly. It's crazy what you find out you're capable of when you're in that moment. My son de-celled, or however it's spelled, during delivery. Heart rate dropped really low, so we had to sit there for like 10-20 minutes at a time listening to the heart rate monitor, waiting for it to pick back up before my wife could start pushing again. I just sat there and prayed the whole time. But you never lose site that you are needed at that moment.

No procedure today, Hoping tomorrow. At this point we are hoping to get her home for Christmas. We are also looking for a place in Birmingham for a month. If anyone knows of a place not too far from the hospital that we can rent for 1 month it would be greatly appreciated.

They know the issue, just want some stats to go up. They continue to improve, it's just taking a while.

Maybe there's an extended stay hotel around there. They're usually not in the best parts of town, but I imagine you're just looking for a place to keep clothes and toiletries and perhaps get some rest that isn't on a shitty hospital cot. And you can rent by the week.

Yeah I'm looking. Right now all we have is expensive hotel options. The room doesn't even have a cot, just uncomfortable chairs.

No they discharged her early on Sunday and she came here. She isn't full go yet but she's tough. It didn't stop her from reading to our little girl last night and this morning.

Saw her eyes for the first time this morning. I can wait to take her home when she is better.
