==================================================
In 2015, Square Enix confirmed long lasting rumours of development for Final Fantasy VII Remake. Three of the core developers returned; Yoshinori Kitase (Producer), Kazushige Nojima (Script) and Tetsuya Nomura (Character Design). The game is planned for a 2017 release date for the Sony PlayStation 4 and is planned to be released in multiple parts due to limited storage and to avoid trimming original content.

Legacy of Kain Series (Soul Reaver), but they'd need to do it quick to access the remaining voice cast from the first games. They're getting up there.

I liked the original way better than GK2, personally. GK2 seemed too easy.

I agree with the X-wing love. Loved that game. A remake with updated graphics but the same energy system management would be awesome.

Also, I wonder how many people I can trigger with this:

Metal Gear Solid 1

Metal Gear Solid 1 was remade 6 years after it was released.

The PS version was remade on the Gamecube with PS2-equivalent graphics and gameplay similar to MGS2 which, unfortunately, made the game much easier.

Now if you're talking the ORIGINAL Metal Gear (1987 version), that's a different story.

You'll never see that happen though because Konami fired Hideo Kojima and any remake done of any of the games released between 1987-2015 will not be received well at all.

Twin Snakes is not accepted as a canon entry in the series though. LINK

Ogre Battle was re-released on PS1. Besides the loading time, it's awesome.

Can you imagine a Lunar redux from the folks who did Ni No Kuni's graphics?

I'd love a remake of the SNES and Genesis version of Shadowrun. I don't count Shadowrun Returns as a remake.

Yeah don't want PS loading times. Plus a remake that is 20 years old isn't a remake anymore... Plus it would be nice to have mobile.....

I never played the Genesis version of Shadowrun, but it was staggeringly ahead of its time. I'm shocked that it was successfully revived after The Matrix put a spotlight on cyberpunk.
