Ah ok. Nothing would surprise me. Tbh I don't think I've noticed much difference either except for maybe in realllyyy long walks.

Battery saver mode just locks up the game for me. Once the logo pops up, game freezes and never returns. I just make sure I'm fully charged before Poke hunting.

Battery saver is a no go for me as well. It turns the screen off when o flip the phone upside-down, but when a pick it up to wake it, the screen is unresponsive and I have to restart the app.
Just went for a run and hatched a 5k egg which contained my first Voltorb (cp467).
I love getting new specimens. 
Question on gyms....you don't get coins for just finding a gym with an open slot and dropping a Pokémon in there, do you? The Pokémon needs to be in that gym for 21 hours first...right?

Me and my friend took down a level 2 gym and left one Vape each and 36 hours later it's a level 7 and still rocking.

Duh the point was I have cashed out on it 3 times. And yes my math was off 63 hours. It is kind of in the middle of nowhere which surprised me that it is now a level 7.

With gyms, dropping a pokemon in will start the timer. The timer keeps running whether you still have a pokemon in a gym or not. The only way you can claim your coins is if you have a pokemon in a gym when the 21 hours is up. You can put a pokemon in a gym any time after the timer is up to get your coins and start the clock again.

Drop a pokemon in a gym and immediately go to the SHOP then click on the shield in the top right. You will collect 10 coins. Then the timer starts

Definitely interesting to see the regional differences. I'd be so pissed if I hatched a Voltorb from an egg - I catch about 10 per day, already have 2 Electrodes I've evolved and have enough to get 2 more. Same for Magnemites. Some other stuff y'all talk about I rarely see, though.
Goals for tomorrow - more Gastly candy (getting closer to Gengar), Poliwag candy to get Poliwrath, maybe mass evolve, and progress on new 10kg egg I finally picked up today. Maybe take over some gyms in the morning and claim coins before I get crushed by the million 1900 Vap/Exeggutor/Snorlax around here.

So the green pulse thing worked for me tonight, or at least it seemed like it did. Has that been confirmed to work or is that just a myth? Was pretty awesome being able to use it to track a jiggly puff. My girlfriend started playing with me a few days ago and never experienced a working tracker, so it was cool to expose her to the tracking aspect of the game. She's getting pretty into it.

There's a Charmander spawn in north Atlanta I'm going to hit again soon to evolve to a Charizard. Constantly has 2-3 Charmanders spawned in the park in the afternoons. Need to get tons of candies to upgrade the Charizard as well. Super convenient.

Put my Pokemon in a gym and the shop wouldn't open for me. Then when it finally came up my Pokemon had gotten his butt kicked. No defender bonus

I'm not sure if it works or not. I tried it a couple of days ago, and it seemed to pulse no matter what direction I walked.

I actually went and confronted some clowns at the local park circa 900pm taking my gym.
Had a few beers in me so Idgaf
Took down their shite and left a butterfree. Tried to get them to trade xp on gym taking.
Dude said ok and left a 1600 exeggutor and told me good luck. Took his shite and left my 1965 snorlax and drove off.
