Once you upgrade your multitool enough, you don't have to worry about sentinels. You can cut through them like butter with your boltcaster.

I seem to have a knack for finding the pods with suits upgrades but not so much for places where I can upgrade my multi tool.

Just keep flying low to the ground until you see an outpost. I stop at most outposts on a planet and I've gotten pretty much every upgrade available for multitools...you can find upgraded multitools (read - more slots) in various outposts or in the atlas space stations.

They're stashed on walls of most outposts or by interacting with NPC's and giving them carbon, heridium, iron, etc.

It really is a random thing, so you may come across 5 suit upgrade drops, then not see one again on the whole planet.

For the Vy'Keen and Korvax. It's quite rare to find a multi-tool upgrade in a Gek trading outpost.

Wait did the kickstarter not die when Sony got involved?

If you follow the atlas quest they are in a pod at every space anomaly you find.

Just curious I like space exploration games, but haven't really looked into this one much. Heard really mixed reviews about it.

NMS biggest issue is that the info about what the game is was pretty vague.

Every gamer developed in their mind their fantasy of the perfect space sim and many got pissed off that NMS doesn't live up to their fantasy.

Have any of y'all tried the low flight mod? I can't recommend it enough. It's sad that HG nerfed the controls, but this mod adds back in so much control.

I've seen the Low Flight mod. I don't get at all why HG took went with the flying mode they did. I'm jealous as f playing this on the PS4. IF the low flying mod was in the retail game it would have not gotten shite on as much as it did IMO. That's a great mod.

That said I'm still putting 4-5 hours a day in this game, vanilla on ps4, and I love it.

No Man's Sky was never a kickstarter game.
