Finished up to part where you unlock chapter select. Been on a 2k kick lately since the playoffs have started.

I beat one chapter from each character in act 3 last night... are all of the chapters at this point that quick? If so, I'll probably beat the game completely this weekend 
P.S: I currently have like 500,000 money - I think I'm going to just buy the rest of the trophies I need in the end

I'll just say this. Be very careful with your decisions at the end of the game.
I've been playing through more and more each night. Finally popped the 80% side quests trophy. Going to be working on getting the rest of the weapons and pod programs tonight.
I do want to say this, the story in many of the side quests are phenomenal. You're truly missing out by not playing some of them. Hit you with feels big time. Especially the Emil and Amnesia quests.

I hit the 76% Quest completed mark last night... I have been doing every single quest as they pop up.
Last night I finished the "giving remembrance to the fallen" quest which ended with the sword in the ground at Kainé's old house

Make sure y'all go back to the flooded district with 9S during C and look for Toobie's flight unit

Got to the tower this afternoon, I'm on the last fight and will be starting the climb to the top whenever I get the TV back from my wife. Unfortunately though... I'm way less vested in either of the androids in this route than the first two... I honestly don't think I care about what happens to them at this point =/

Did you read all of the logs up to this point? They are nothing but tools to make the replicants have purpose... A lie of a lie of a lie. I don't even know if I would say they have "souls" as they follow the exact same route over and over again like the machines they are fighting. If anything, I do actually like a2 the most, as she turned against her programming
9S has almost completely lost control and basically given up hope at this point

P.S: ending B into start of C was a much bigger soul crushing experience... if nothing else, that event alone made my heart hard, and I was just waiting for ending c / d at that point

The story was really good, I'm not trying to take away from that, poor 9s... and thanks to everything that happened in automata the replicants will end up living in peace for a good long time again... I just feel like the tragedy at the beginning of C kind of softens the blow for the end is all.
ETA: I'm really glad I did all of the side quest before beating the game... it made the reveal at the end about 2B sooooooo powerful

Maybe I've already done it, but I don't remember the significance.
I've been making good progress on my plat though. Found all of the pod programs and got 80% intel last night. Only missing a single weapon that you get from Emil. Going to get Ending E and start the other Emil quest chain next.

Well, they were given the task of watching over the Replicants by the humans who were still alive. Devola and Popola were unable to control Nier which lead to the end of of the last hope for humanity. So, all that's left was for Emil to fight off the aliens by sacrificing himself and for androids to continue fighting against machines despite being void of reason. During all of this, they've gained sentience and a bit of individual purpose. Dealing with that lost purpose while knowing what they've been thinking and feeling is wrong. Brings up a lot of conflict.
and yes, the 2B=2E thing was quite a reveal. Makes some of the other quests you do quite interesting.
