That's an interesting team to say the least. Against a team of tanks, it's not surprising that you would struggle, though.

Hopefully we can get those going soon. Anyone watching TSM/XDG right now? XDG really giving TSM all they can handle right now and it could go either way at this point
ETA: XDG blew a chance to win the game when they could have pushed mid on a 5v3. WildTurtle peeled off and took 3 with him and XDG ended up wasting too much time, allowing inhib to respawn. Still ongoing now, next baron probably decides this. Hell of a game

TSM just lost to a team that won't even be in the LCS next split. They have been awful ever since Bjergsen got back from his Visa trip. They went from having godlike rotations to complete crap. They're also trying new stuff and it's not working. Hopefully they go back to the stuff they were winning with in the playoffs and this is just them experimenting with new comps. Pretty sure that's the first time all year Bjergsen has ended a game negative. Or even close to negative.
ETA: Karma needs to go. TSM relies on Xpecial to initiate and Karma can't do that like an Annie/Leona/Thresh.

Yeah I'm not sure what's been up with the Karma picks lately. It's not just TSM, but there have been quite a few Karma picks this week. I understand using her as a utility pick, but like you said, TSM relies on Xpecial initiating and without that, Dyrus was making some dumbass engages. Solidly threw twice because of Dyrus initiating when he shouldn't have. Sheep was pretty clutch with those Thresh lanterns today though.

The matchmaking for this game boggles my mind.
Frequently, I am the highest ranked player on my team at silver V with a bunch of various bronze ranks and non ranked.
We get pit against a team full of silvers and golds....I am never on the opposite end of this deal. I'm up for a challenge, but it's unplayable when every member of your team is completely outclassed. You can't even learn anything because 2-3 players are fed by 10 mins.

It's all based on your elo. They say elo is gone, but it's still what they use when they select your team/opponents. Them being gold last season doesn't always mean they were gold in soloq. If they're in bronze elo and they were gold last season, 9/10 they just got carried on a ranked 3's team to get gold so they could get the border.

Nah I remember it being a thing because a lot of people would get called out on it. I remember Riot asking about it prior to season 3. I never kept up with what they decided to do, though.

When I play ranked 5's my border is still gold even though we were silver last season.

That's the thing, they are Gold IV & V as of THIS year. Sometimes it's as of last year, but even still, it's a pain in the arse.
One thing to lose because they are better than you. It's another when they are a much higher class than you. Not much to learn when you're in a game where your team loses by 20-30 kills.
Is what it is, I just write those off, but it's still frustrating sometimes.
