I will say, if you can understand the mana restrictions once you go back to normal rift, it's a good game mode to learn new champs and practice your poke, abilities, combos, etc...
Not to mention, even though it sucks losing, I'm not nearly as upset as I would be if I had lost a normal game mode. I'll probably be playing this for a while.

But a 30-50min game a few times a week doesn't give me the "feel" they get for the champs.
This game mode. Few last more than 20 min.
And I get to practice 3x the number of skill shots.
Not to mention flash always seems to be up for me and the opponent. So, I get to practice a relatively rare skill.
Love the game mode.

I'd get stunn locked constantly from Morg early in lane. So, in all chat I told my team not to worry about her b/c she falls off late.
It pissed her off, but I didn't care.
Then our Trist AFK'd, and we had to sit there for 20min getting destroyed at the fountain by their team.
People suck.

So I realized last night (on URF), that if you land Thresh's hook, it's an automatic 3 second cooldown....considering at one point the CD for the hook is 3.6 seconds, I literally could 1v1 people as a tank Thresh, bc they would be stunned the entire time.
Hook, pull myself in, flay, repeat until dead
Also, add WW to the "frick you" list.

Whoever said CC is the name of the game earlier in this thread is 100% right.
Permastun kills are all but inescapable.
Super mobile champions are hella-hard too. Zed, Hec, Leblanc. If you can't touch them, it's hard to kill them. ONLY chance you have is to stun them and burst them down.
I've seen most High level players take cleanse and buy a cleanse item to prevent permastun.

Agreed. There was a Syndra/Ahri mid battle and he points out the Lee Sin/Nid top lane
There's actually been a few Ahri picks in the last couple of weeks, but I hope she continues to fly under the radar. She's still pretty good, even though she got nerfed hard after season 3. You can still nuke people down with a full combo once you finish your dfg

Riot really needs to fix how broken tanks are in this meta. Just got out of a game. The enemy team had Jax, Udyr, Malphite, Malzahar, and Corki. Every one of our lanes won. We took mid inhib. Everything was looking good. Then Udyr completed ONE tank item (Randuins) and was unkillable from then on out. Jax and Malphite soon joined him. It's hilarious how broken tanks are. They do WAY too much damage for how much they can tank.
