So I figured out why i was getting so many damn annoying lag spikes. I did some testing and every time I would spike, I would see a full drop from the internet, so it wasn't just the game.. I was blaming Cox but I never even tested any of my own equipment Rebooted my router, BAM. No more drops, no more lag spikes. Time to pwn again

Not to break the trend of good luck comments, but I was look for some advice on which new champions I should give it a go with.

I played with Master Yi for a bit and liked him. Also played a bit with Ashe and found that I like her a little better.

I prefer AD Carry champs, but I'm open to suggestions on other, as there are so many.

Advice?
ETA: Lee Sin is one of the free champs this week and I was thinking of giving him a run.

Nobody can tell you what champs you will like, you have to just try them out. My favorite champ to play is Lux, followed by Jarvan, Cho'Gath, and Brand, and Jax.

Lee Sin is really fun to play, and a good Lee Sin can really give the enemy team a hard time.

For the most part the game is balanced pretty well and almost all the champions can do well. Also I'm guessing you are new to the game and not summoner level 30 yet. The game gets much different once you get runes and masteries. It's all about characters you feel comfortable playing with.

Makes sense.

I'm still playing AI-co-op games, trying to get a feel for what I like. I really love the AD carry types. Just straight up nasty damage as the game goes on.

Lee Sin was a rough go for me at first, but once I figured out the basics for him, he's actually pretty fun.

Although, I got rocked in the first PvP match i played with some of yall. Gonna need to practice.

I am definitely a beginner. The runes and masteries mean little to nothing to me at this point. I'm just focusing on mastering the basic and intermediate principles of in game play for now.

In my opinion it's better to just get creamed by people in real games to get a feel for how games flow and how people react in different situations. Bot games are really just for learning how to last hit and learning a champions mechanics. It's not fun if you play bots and you get up to a higher level. Then you try to play against players and you have no idea what's happening and can't understand why you are getting creamed.

Just pick Cait or Miss fortune for you bread and butter AD carries. Lee has a pretty steep learning curve for new players from what I've heard.

More people need to play with me and Kingwood (angrybritches). We get together with some other guys and do hilarious premade 5s, like all lock in random champs.

Zed is a fun champ but is somebody you need to get a feel for. He is great at picking people off and really needs to pick his spots in team fights
