I'm creeping up on lvl 27.
Can someone explain to me the ranked games placement process?
I see alot of streamers grinding up through the divisions. Most of them have diamond talent. So, why do they get placed in silver and have to work all the way back up to diamond?

They loses matches on purpose.
You play 10(?) placement matches and then get placed based on those matches.

ETA: Someone on the LoL GD forums won 9 games and went from Plat 4 to Silver 1.

Only thing that really bothers me about the LoL community. C9 or TSM start doing things and 99% of the community follows. TSM could buy 6 pairs of boots, stay in base for the first 30 minutes and everyone would jizz all over themselves and follow suit.
