I watched a little of your last game and gave up when I saw Amumu built feral flare and BOTRK
Right?!?!
Then he had the audacity to call us out for being noobs....him and his 15 deaths.
ETA: To make matters worse, half of our team died doing something stupid, and the enemy team went straight for baron. We had no vision on it.
Ammumu insists we go over there. I ping him and the support away from it. Enemy team gets the baron right as they show up and they both get melted.
They respawn and proceed to dive again...get killed and we lose.
People are just dumb.

Play a second game..under tower 3v4, our ahri decides to just run instead of helping us. Tower was 75% strength still.
"3v4 is stupid. I'm not an idiot"
It's not brain surgery. If you're under tower, poke from under it. Don't run like a little bitch.

Depends on the siege potential of the 4. If you're against a Nunu, Twitch, Fizz, and Janna, then yeah. Stay and fight that shite. But if you're up against a Leona, Tristana, Tryndamere, and Zed, might be best to just let the tower go until you can even the numbers.

Honestly, now that I think about it, it wasn't even a 3v4. Not sure what he was seeing.
It was a thresh, graves and Orianna and we had a minion wave approaching.
I just didn't see the need to not try to take advantage of the situation and use our tower to our advantage.
The more I play, the more I realize, game knowledge seems to trump "skill".
If everyone just stopped going full retard and dying so damn much, you have a legit shot at winning.
ETA: I was jinx and we had a sona and the ahri with us. This was the first middle tower.

It's kinda both, especially at like silver elo. If you have amazing mechanical skills, you can really carry a game if you are really good with one champ. For instance, in silver all you have to do is pick Godyr, literally ignore lanes for the first 20 minutes (unless its a free kill) and stack FF, should be 25 stacks by 25 min minimum. At the 25-30 minute mark, you should be able to carry the game even if your team is down 0-10.
On the other side, most people below high plat / diamond don't have great mechanics, so game knowledge is more important. Unfortunately a lot of people at lower tiers don't have that either lol .
The thing is though, just because your call / ping may be the "correct" one in terms of the smarter play, if the majority of the team is doing something different you're much better at least doing the "wrong" thing together then trying to lead your own charge when no one is following. A lot of people don't grasp that. If people don't want to group with you for dragon, maybe you are better off just grouping with them. That's not the "textbook" play, but it may break even, or even work out in your favor (pick 1-2 guys off, get a tower, etc).

Played my first game in a few days last night. Went 11/3/12 with Lucian, almost 300 cs.
Lost because idiots couldn't peel for myself and zyra, and trynd had a free go at the both of us during the last team fight.
Winning the whole match, then after that fight, trynd and nasus proceed to own our base

I definitely understand that. If I make a call and the entire team isn't following, I then abandon the call.
In this particular case, we only had three players up, and our jungler wanted to contest baron (which we were far away from at the time, had no vision and in a 3v5 situation with our base turrets down or near down).
I knew we probably wouldn't get there in time, and I was right...we weren't even close. The support and jungler died and I was left to defend base alone as tank nautilus.
I've just learned to have patience and incorporate "not dying" as my major goal in this game.

Had to play ranked this past weekend to keep my account from decaying. It's not really all that fun... not nearly as fun as I thought it would be. Everyone takes it WAYYY too seriously!
I'm with dcrews on the not dying part. I had to keep that in mind in one of my games.
Played as trist with a Blitz support, but he was lagging and just stayed at the turret. So Lux/Miss Fortune pushed me under turret... and Trist already has alot of trouble under turret... so guess how that went!
He ended up just rebooting and rejoining, but by then I was about 50 behind in cs and 3 behind in kills. We ended up winning b/c I outscaled her... but instead of getting impatient and trying to make plays and allowing MF to steam roll the game... I just played super safe until the rest of my team could get us into the late game.

It really is THAT simple.
People panic way too easily/early. As an ADC most especially, even if you get down early, just play it safe and farm.
Me not dying by playing smart is the easiest thing for me to control in League. If everyone took that approach, things would be exponentially better.

Welcome to Silver 1.
The game prior my jungler didn't even buy a jungle item. I think I'm just gonna give up on gold if this is what I have to carry.

Looks like Tibetan Pusher shouldn't have pushed so damn hard.
You can tell by looking at his score that is one of those idiots that keeps doing the same shite over and over even though he dies every time.
They Kayle doesn't look much better.

Yep. It got to the point where Renekton would go to one side lane, Yasuo would go to the other and both would just die. Then Kayle would randomly die somewhere. I just spent the whole game shaking my head and mentally preparing for the next one.

I will probably buy almost all of those. Literally.

I just won a game that I had 700 ping the whole game for. The 700 was my internets fault but has anybody had under 100 ping for the past couple of months? I used to be able to play at 70 or 80 now every game is 120

Its been fairly laggy lately. I will hover around 100 and at least once in the game it will spike to 1000.
