Golden State Warriors, Washington Wizards, and Magic Johnson buy majority stake in Team Liquid.

After the 76'ers buying Dignitas and Apex... and the recent Team Liquid purchase, it looks like the NBA is getting in bed with E-sports.

Hopefully, these moves will help to further legitimize the business aspects of E-sports.

Group A: Rox and G2
Group B: SKT and c9 - something tells me FW gets in over c9.
Group C - EDG and AHQ
Group D - TSM and Samsung

Quarters:
Rox vs C9 - Rox rolls 3-1
SKT vs G2 - SKT rolls 3-0
EDG vs Samsung - Samsung 3-2
TSM vs AHQ - TSM 3-2

Semifinals:
Rox vs SKT - SKT 3-2
TSM vs Samsung - TSM 3-2

Finals:
SKT vs TSM - SKT 3-1

I guessed on quarters matches and how they will be paired.

Not familiar with the format so forgive my ignorance, but why would TSM play AHQ in both the quarters and semis? I imagine that should be Samsung vs TSM in the semis?

Team Liquid in talks with Immortals to acquire Reignover and Adrian.

Huni is heading back to KR.

TL has replaced Locodoco with DLim at head coach.

If TSM has to go all 5 games to beat AHQ it'd be because their entire starting lineup got the flu and couldn't play.

Big money is big money, better for the League/Orgs for sure.

Glad they kept Dignitas for LoL, be nice to see Dig back in the LCS next split. Much more recognizable brand.

5 minutes. Holy frick I'm so hyped right now. I love Worlds.

Here's my Pick'em:

The only one I'm not sold on is C9 over FW. My gut says FW but my brain says C9 looked great at the end of the season and I think the meta really favors Impact's strengths. Reapered will have them ready to go.

It's fine otherwise.

I disagree. CLG was awful all split (wouldn't have qualified at all if not for winning Spring). China has a massive dropoff after the top 2. Even if CLG was better, I still don't think they're better than G2 and they're damn sure not better than ROX. iMay may surprise, but FW would have to shite the bed.

Fair. And after this draft I'm fairly sure CLG will continue as mediocrely planned.

I'll wait and see how they play the map when they don't have a Sol comp. If they start controlling the map like they did at MSI, they have a shot to make some noise. If it's more of the same from summer split, 3rd is pretty much a lock. I will say I like the Nami pick in the standard lane meta. She brings so much to laning phase.

The wasting two first picks on bot lane shows how little faith they still have in the solo laners. I think unless they dive early they'll get poked to death.

Why the hell did Darshan wander out of turret aggro range. It's not like Jayce still can't reach him back there.
