I love the crafting and settlement building.
I did give up on fences. I'll wait for a mod. I am sure some OCD modder is fervently working on a way to snap all the segments together to make a clean looking fence.
Am I missing something? Where are the windows?

Heck, they should have gone one step further on settlements and scrapping.
You ought to be able to scrap anything and build anywhere other than questing / repopulating monster spawn areas.

Or
1) as your population grows so does the green build area
2) if there is a raider controlled area(red) bordering your green area you have to clear them out and you can assign some of your settlers to help you fight
3) In some cases you could persuade them to join your cause by doing missions for the other settlements leaders or incite a revolt from the inside by helping settlers that feel neglected or unhappy with current leadership
4) concurrently there are other factions(slavers, raiders, super mutants) trying to rebuild the waste land that you can try to join, prevent from getting to large, or have a huge war with.
point is in another 7 years fallout 5 could have some really cool features with settlements and come complete with the same shitty graphics

It's like y'all want an entire SIMS:Fallout Edition built into this already enormous sandbox RPG.
Seems reasonable

This video is helpful. Found out how to get unlimited adhesive legit way
Not sure everything is right in that video. He claims that using an unbroken down item, doesn't delete the unused components. It just simply takes time for the unused items to appear in the workshop storage.
Also, not sure about that electrical item he used. I don't think that adds electricity to the whole house.
I need to find a good electrical guide to explain the various components and how best to use them.

Ign has a decent electrical guide

nothing adds power to a whole house. MAYBE if you put a generator on the roof I've heard it could but conduits do not. They only power things in a radius of the conduit.

I was home for lunch and decided to clear an area for the brotherhood real quick. Get there and it's a mutant stronghold and here comes one of the suicide bastids so I zone into the building and the following happened:
1. Zoned in
2. Game saved
3. Suicide bomber zones in
4. We all go BOOM.
5. Reload the save
6. Go to 1

There were still a few helpful things in there about sending settlers on missions and a few building tips I didnt know about.

I had something similar happen to me at the national guard facility. I had just cleared the base and unlocked the armory. As I finished looting, I stroll outside (auto-save) with little to no health, and I get one hit by a sentry-bot.
I had to reload probably 7 or 8 times before I was able to progress. Luckily, I had recently crafted some food item (Yao-Guai or Death claw Steak, I think) that temporarily made me invulnerable to damage. Load game, mash B, eat the steak and high-tail it out of there.
It was frustrating at first, but I got past it.

Reason #1 that I always make 2 saves before finishing a session. At the very least, I don't have to start over. Might only lose a few hours if someone crazy like this happens

Use VATS on the bomb, blow him before he gets to you

The character graphics suck, but I love those explosions.

I've hit countless bugs and glitches in the game.

My main stat is luck (10). The others are high enough to get the hacking/lockpicking/crafting bonuses. I'm 11 and still haven't headed towards Diamond City.

I was nearbye and decided to pop in to see what it was like.
Some robot chef hustled me into buying his noodle dish for 68 caps
Pretty overwelming. Gonna go back outside and do stuff for paladin Danse.
