Yeah I don't know what xbox calls that.

Dropping Dorian and adding Bull made a big big big difference in the Hard fight on the 10th dragon.
Barely knocked off half of his health before getting killed first attempt.
Second attempt with Bull (only passives enabled in his spec) and I kicked its arse. Although those damn dragonlings caused a real problem. I think along with the dragon, there were about 20 dragonling corpses when I was done.
So, I am all done every area so time to move to the main quest.
took me 105 hours to get to this point the first play through and 80 this time. And this time, I did far more searching and picking up everything.
Actually got all of the bottles and 1 full mosaic.
Only thing that really aggravates me in MASTER SCHEMATICS. I didn't find many searching EVERYTHING!

How is the multiplayer in this game?
Posted on 12/30/14 at 9:14 am to BobRoss
An afterthought, it kinda reminds me of a third person Diablo 3 just not so open.

Don't think I have a 3rd play through in me so I am sad my time with Inquisition is nearing an end.
Hope they have some solid DLC and not just a short new companion quest or two.

There's no achievement for the shards but there is an achievement for finishing the temple that the shards give you access to.

Plus I would imagine on nightmare those resistances are super important. So getting the shards is worth it even without a pat on the back attaboy achievement.

Schematic Tip!
Just read that you need to use a perk on merchants to get the best schematics.
Not sure which one since I am not at home to look at the perk list, but if you like maxing characters with the best outfits, then you need to use one of the merchant perks from Josephine.
Think it is "The Short List."

I officially have 105 hours on my first play through but about 30 of those were me leaving the PS4 on or just falling asleep with it on.
- 5 dragons down.
- nearly all shards are done.
- 100% on all the zones up to Emprise du Lion and Hissing Wastes.
I am now level 21 archer Rogue and am hitting like a truck now. I found great bears last night and just started obliterating them in about 15 seconds each. I am on the save the empress quest in the main story. How much more main story do I have left?

Don't know. On my first play through I started a new character after doing the Empress quest.
Looks like 3 more main quests. Not sure if any side quests open up or not.

Rogue feels ridiculously underwhelming so far.

I am far more underwhelmed with my mage than my archer. Rogue easily has the worst specializations but the damage is crazy what I can dole out on a big target when I get rolling. I have pulled skills (passives) from daggers, taken most of archery, taken the whole line of Tempest (could actually redo and take much less), poison skills and a little bit of stealth stuff. Combine it with the right masterwork stuff and you really destroy big enemies fast.
I am starting a play through with an elf mage and tinkering with him between trying to wrap up my first play through. I am not impressed with mage so far even though I know it gets much stronger the deeper you go.

Gear up.
Time to learn crafting.
What party are you using?
I wasn't doing nearly enough damage on HARD so I had to drop one of my mages and added bull.
Cassandra, Bull, My Assassin and Viv killed the 10th although I was about out of potions by the time I was done.
All those damn dragonlings that get called can be a real pain.
So check your party style and gear up with crafting. The best weapons and armor are made through crafting.
Also, making Superb Dragon Runes is pretty easy. You can just run around the hissing waste killing Wyverns to get the items needed to craft superb dragon killing runes.
I dropped them in every weapon before I went dragon killing.

Nope. Josephine and Cassandra are the only options. You can flirt with a few more but nothing will come of it.

Later in the game, Rift + Fire Mage = Death to All

Heck, even on HARD, Viv is a beast with Knight Enchanter and I probably don't even use her to her full potential.
On normal, I thought Mage was easy. My first play through I went Inquisitor Mage. I think I was Knight Enchanter but I never used the skill because I didn't need to.
