7 or 8 most of the time. Will sometimes bump it down to around 4 if my snipes are not on. Only for sniping in pvp.

Which has been a lot. I have regressed so much in PVP since Taken King. Not sure what it is but probably a combination of;
1. Not being great with the current meta (pulse rifle, shotgun)
2. Not really having a counter to shotgun bros, yea they nerfed range but they also nerfed the guns that could stop them in close range.
3. Playing in much stronger lobbies now. Matchmaking has seemed to put me in tougher groups since TTK.

I play higher than most. Most really good pvp players play around 3 or 4.

I'm alright with pulse but I've never been good in close quarters. I switched to sniper recently and have been better with that although I tend to stick my head out too long.

New meta is kind of lame. I want hand cannons back. I was running last word yesterday and it was more fun despite being less effective.

I switched to a scout earlier in Iron Banner and I started doing extremely well. I just got my first red death too so I need to try that.
I haven't gotten any good drops yet from IB but stuff is dropped more often for sure.

You need to be rank 3 to get drops is Banner I believe. And Rank 5 for some drops.

True.
What sucks about our lobbies is if you don't use the meta you get worked.
I almost wish I had a smurf account to get some casual pvp in.

you get packages at 3 and 5. I think the drops get better once you hit 2.

I'm still on low level PvP and while I'm not that "amazing" - but I tend to end up 2-3 place most of the time, it's pretty fun.
