So this weekend I want to:
1) do a crazy amount of strikes (I'm currently light level 286, want to at least get to 290)
2) Maybe complete a Nightfall Strike if possible?
I played until almost 2 last night and had to be up by 5:45 this morning... this game
ETA: So I just looked at Alpha Lupi.. yeah, I'm getting that sucker, he will help me in the short term a lot more than any other thing I could get at this moment.

History Lesson
UltimateHog pumped this game up like crazy pre-release and beta. Started the clan named Marked for Death. Yea I know, lame arse name.
He then never showed up during release and did not give anybody power to invite.
I created a new clan, along with others, called HuckFog. (Not sure who came up with the actual name) Which obviously was our way of getting around Bungie not letting us call it what we really wanted to, frick Hog.
Then sometime around the House of Wolves update, a lot of the regulars from the clan stopped playing. Totes left the clan to start a new clan name promoting his venture into Twitch streaming.
I left the clan, but unknowingly it deleted the entire clan when doing so.
Long story short there is no clan now and all it ever did was give you a clan name when scrolling over your name.

I have a total of ~160 raid clears across three characters and only two of them are HM Oryx, thanks to the dumpster fire that is the no knight strat. My first clear we ran it normally with 0 wipes and we had three under 310. My second clear (hours of no knighting between the two, I've run it every week since it came out) we ran no knight with one person under 310 and spent 2 hours.
If your group functions as a hive mind and can perfectly time getting into variably spaced corrupted light bombs to not kill teammates then use no knight. If you are in a PUG or are a normal human capable of putting two sniper shots into a single knight but can't team-think then run it regular.
