Interesting I haven't noticed that. I do usually wear one ear off though so that may be why.

I haven't wore headphones at all but after hearing it so much I can't not hear it. I don't think it's in the dream but I swear I can hear it even there.

I play at night when the family is asleep. Headphones are required but only one ear

Kinda wish I didn't watch it, but it was still funny.

Demon's Souls is onsale for $5 right now on PSN. Should I pick it up? Bloodborne was my first Souls game so how does Demon's Souls compare in terms of difficulty and gameplay?
ETA: When you die do you respawn with items used or do you lose them like in Bloodborne?

About the same, but pick it up! It actually has more items and more variety of weapons and things like magic.
You have to take a more defensive approach in Demon's souls. Let then attack and block with shield then you attack.

Demon's Souls is a very fun game. It plays differently than Bloodborne, but has many other merits that make it quite fun.
Items are expendable much like Bloodborne.

Bloodborne reminds me more of Demon's than Dark Souls, so you might find it pretty familiar. It's not my favorite of the games but it's great and definetly worth experiencing.

1. Bloodborne
2. Dark Souls
3. Dark Souls 2
4. Demon Souls
Would be my rank. All really good games, and worth 5 bucks for sure.

Awesome thanks for the responses. I'll pick it up.

Nostalgia aside, that's probably my ranking. What puts BB ahead of Dark Souls, for me, is that the second half of BB doesn't feel like just a fetch quest. It's a bit shorter but it's tighter, which makes sense from a story standpoint.

Haven't beat Bloodborne yet + haven't played 2's DLC/SotFS, but my tentative ranking is
Dark Souls
Bloodborne
Demon's Souls
Dark Souls 2
subject to change soon.
Bloodborne is pretty close to a religious experience, but I dont think a game will ever make me feel the way Dark Souls did. It was my first trip into a From/Miyazaki world, and it was something that I literally thought about all day when not playing, as nerdy as that sounds. Same for my roommate at the time, who doesn't play games at all
