Platinum trophy complete. All chalice dungeons done.
I really enjoyed this game. I just wish the pvp was better. All they need really is an arena to where you can 1 vs 1 with ease. 2 vs 2 would be awesome as well.

You'll get most 1v1 action at Mergo's Loft; I always invade in the middle and there's rarely a summons.

It takes even less skill in this one, unfortunately. In my opinion it comes down to who has the better blood gems on their weapons.
Someone who grinds the chalice dungeons for the better gems has a distinctive advantage over someone who hasn't. My weapon on my first character would be doing half the damage with gems only from the core game.

After you beat Mergo's Wet Nurse. Go back to the dream and talk to the doll.
Save your data to PSN or to a USB before consuming the three umbilical cords, refuse Gherman's offer and you'll get the real ending; rinse and repeat for the other two - without using the umbilical cords.

So turn off auto upload at that point and just copy over it with my cloud save basically to do our again?

Basically, save your data before Gherman and get the secret ending, reload your data two other times to get the other two. Just keep in mind that you only need the cords for the real ending. You'll have the option to refuse after the real ending, but as long as you haven't used the cords you'll get an alt ending.
If you want to get the platinum, I'd suggest getting the rest of the achievements in NG. The only exception would be the boss in the chalice dungeons, as you can do that during any playthrough.

If I beat the game before finishing all the chalice dungeons, do I have to start over in NG+? Or do they carry over

No. Your dungeons remain completely unchanged.

Keeping tombstones between you and him and using a weapon with reach will make Gascoigne easier. But be careful because he can still reach you. The video below shows you where to get the music box.
