There's a secret area that you can get to from the healing workshop. I tried to find it, only to find another area that ended up opening an area in catherdal ward. I was floored.

I found that secret area where you had to fall to door. Make sure you have health vials to heal the fall damage.
To get there, as soon as you reach the top of the room with the planks, walk right and fall to the platform below. Then walk left and fall to the next small platform. Finally walk left again to fall to the platform with the door.
When I opened the door, my mind was blown. That's all I'll say. Some decent loot too.

Just opened the shortcut. It's ridiculous how close to it I was last night. I basically want to the gate but just didn't open it

That was a design that the more I think about, the more it makes sense. It keeps farming from being too easy. There's a couple of lamps that are next to mobs of easily killable enemies that drop a ton of blood. They took out enemies disapering after 7 kills that limited farming so they had to do something.

Hemwick is great for leveling. The boss is very easy. It's kinda hard to find though. It's almostnto vicar Amelia and you take a left, go through a wood full of snipers and then you reach it. I have t made much actual progress recently.
I'm having issues with the blood beast and I shouldn't be. I'm grinding for antidote right now cause I want to get the unseen village out of the way. By that point, I'll be more than ready for Amelia.
