There is an area right outside the house that has 3 stairwells. One leads to two trolls, one leads to the sewer, and one leads up. I'm pretty sure the one going up leads you back to the bridge passed them.

It think he is having problem getting to the dark house in the first place without going through the werewolves. In this case, you have to go through the sewers.

When you drop down to the cages, the right goes to the sewers and the left goes to the house/bridge.

If you go left instead of right on the bridge, can't you jump off or does that lead you backwards?
ETA: Damn tired of farming this death dealer to level up my sword to +6. Only one more twin blood stone needed.

I'm not sure, but I believe this is when I jumped down into the sewers. Once I was down there I made my way through and up some ladder somewhere that put me at the dark house.

Now i'm confused.
The first gate I opened was where you can come down the stairs and go right towards the bonfire with 20 guys and left to a switch/gate where the big dude with a huge axe thingy is hanging out.
I can't remember if that leads to the first lantern or the central yharnam lantern.
I couldn't open any gates up until this point.

No. He is a big guy who carries a sack and has a magic attack that pulls you close. The one I'm farming is right outside the cathedral lantern area.

Ahh...haven't made it there yet.
Are those stones different than the tempering blood gemstones? You can farm the baddie I was talking about and apparently they have a 50% drop rate.

You get blood stones to level up your weapons. Twin blood stones are just the leveling items above normal blood stones.
Gemstones are runes you put on weapons to increase damage.

Well, there's already a dupe glitch out were you can dupe pebbles into any stackable item and max everything out from the start.
3 days.
I hope they patch it, I'm not doing it bc then the game becomes casual and easy.
