Well only getting my arse kicked in bloodborne right now, which is acceptable, let's be honest.

Gonna get the dlc soon, haven't played bb in months though. I'm at ng+, not sure if I should just start a new char or run with the one I have. Watched a little dlc on twitch last night and good lord it looks tough. Never really played the chalice dungeons and im afraid the gems I have will be useless in the new areas.

I started a new character bc I needed a strength build for the new weapons I wanted. If anyone else is starting new, I'd recommend at least level 55, preferably 65 before going into the new area. I was level 35 when I got access to the DLC and I was getting wrecked. Had to grind to the Nightmare levels before I could go back.

Beat Ludwig and Laurence on my first try; almost had Maria but she parried me out of nowhere and one-shot me before I could get the killing blow. I have the end boss left and I've only died twice to bosses - I've died more to the Streetsharks and the invader in the Fishing Hamlet.
The DLC is worth it for the Whirligig Saw alone.

They actually seem nerfed compared to those in the main game. Not nearly as annoying to me.

My issue is that there are eight of them and it's hard to draw one away from the pack.

You don't have to kill them, just run around them. You don't get anything of value from doing so.

Dark Souls is better IMO. Can't wait for DS3
