Main characters name is Jacob... Any way they try to shorten this down to Jack and we get Jack the ripper?

Maybe there is a plot twist and the bad guy is actually a werewolf.

AC is a guilty pleasure for me ever since I beat every AC from AC1 through AC3 then Black Flag when it came out on PS4. Have since beaten both AC Unity and Rogue. I like video games and history, so this franchise kind of goes hand in hand with that.
I'm glad they're dropping multiplayer and hope the focus on the single player campaign runs true. AC games, with the exception of AC1 and AC Unity typically have strong storylines. Hopefully this is a return to form.

That's almost everyone. I think everyone wants this to be an home run franchise, but damn. They just keep fricking it up.

Unity is their only real screw up. Most people just complain about the formula. Black Flag is widely considered a really good game.

Rogue was probably my favorite AC last year, but I did enjoy the new gameplay mechanics unity brought to the table.

Just going to ignore how bad AC3 is?

Did people just not like that game or was it the technical disaster that Unity is? I have it, but didn't get far.

I think it ran fine on consoles but as usual sucked on PC. Other than that the game was just garbage.

game was garbage, the story sucked, the resolution of the modern day story was abysmal, the execution of all the "new" stuff was horrible...
yeah, it was just bad

After all the patches, Unity was a solid effort for the new engine.
100% agree. I enjoyed my time with it. Graphics were nice, mechanics were good, and I particularly enjoyed the murder mystery quest lines.
Not a bad game, at all.

I cannot ignore the fact that on PC once you started a game you couldn't start over. I played it at release when it was almost unplayable, waited a couple of months for patches, came back to try again and couldn't start over. I uninstalled and that was the last straw with ubisoft for me.
