hit detection might be the best in the series
but 1 shot kills to arms, legs, shoulders from sniper rifles is asinine.
maps are garbage, no ground war=shite, and typical IW game, not good, but not garbage.
The alien mode i thought was ok, a lot more to do and deal with, than just killing creatures. it's playable.

The more I play the less I'm enjoying it. The maps are fricking retarded. On most of them, no matter where you are at, there are at least 10 places someone can come out from behind and pop you in the arse a millisecond after you scan the area and move on. I can't count the number of times I've taken a good 2 -3 seconds to scan an open area of a map only to turn and move on and have some douche pop out from behind a rock 800 yards away and fill my a-hole with a full clip and never miss a shot....... And if that isn't happening then you are in a lobby with 90% campers. These big maps are campers paradise.
I'm also seeing a few folks that already have aimbots. That shite makes you want to set your console on fire. I'm hoping all this shite evens out soon. I was a huge proponent of ghosts on release day. I had a blast on it first night. But it's been downhill ever since.
Also, is anyone else having problems with lag? I find myself getting killed by a single bullet and then seeing myself eat 5-6 of the bastards in the kill cam. Textbook lag and it's happening more often than not. My connection has always been pretty good and I am hard wired instead of on wifi.

I played Ghosts last night for the first time and I liked it. Better than MW3 and BLOPS 2 so far, IMO. The blind hate that's developed for the CoD franchise is comical.
I would get BF4 as well but everyone I know that plays will be on Xbone before January and I'm sticking with 360 for now #poorpeopleproblems

Yeah, I'm hoping the new ps plus network fixes the lag issues and the new console makes it harder to hack with the aimbots and such but it's not going to help the terribad maps and campers. The only way to fix campers is make camper centric perks only work when moving. I remember some game here recently did that but I don't remember which one it was.

I'll agree I think mw2 was the best with maybe BLOPS 1 being it's only real competition but I have enjoyed them all up until this one. And even this one I think has a chance to be good but one thing it's going to have to fix is the unlock system. I like spending points to unlock stuff early but you should be getting guns automatically as you level up, period, end of discussion. I'm 16 And I have 5 guns. Most cod's start you off with 5 guns.

I liked 3 alright. But I also enjoyed blops2 and a lot of people think it was the low point in the series.

Unlocking a gun shouldn't be a choice that I have to fight myself over. Squad points come so slowly that if you buy a gun to try out and you hate it, you are looking at damn near a full night of gaming to unlock another one with an attachment or 2. That's not fun. It's stupid. Period

If I had to pick one, it would be Blops1. I just thought it had a mixture of a lot of great elements FPSs need. That being said, I have thoroughly enjoyed every installment of CoD. Each one has its own "feel", which is nice. It would get stale if every game was the same.

Simple solution to making a bad decision. Try the gun and attachment out versus the bots.
Also by the time you reach level 60 you'll have unlocked enough squad points to unlock everything. The new system gets rid of the usual linearity.
Squad points are not hard to come by. 2 for each level you gain and then 2 for your first barracks challenge 3 for the next so on and so fourth until you do 5 and finish with 5 or 6 on the last challenge. I easily rack up 20 squad points in one hour regularly.
