Outside of the power wheel being taken out the combat is better in every way. Not sure I like crafting armor though.

I cancelled my Amazon order last night. My backlog is about 8 games deep so I'll wait and get it cheap.

I used squad powers a LOT in ME1-3. WTF.
I also heard there is no more button to take cover, that it does it automatically (auto cover usage when you don't want / need it) and can make you stand up when turning to shoot a flanker.
So if an enemy comes around your right side on waist high cover and you turn to far, surprise, you are standing. Enjoy the shower of bullets hitting you in the back.

I hate auto-snap to cover in games. In this game in particular, it was difficult to tell whether or not I was even in cover, and that made firefights feel clunky.
I'd support a Deus Ex Mankind Divided type scenario where you click one of the analogue sticks to drop into cover. I have only played the PC version, so I don't know if those buttons are used for anything else.

I feel like all this hate MEA is getting is a bit overkill. So the animations aren't perfect. The eyeballs look weird. The people that are complaining about this shite don't like ME. They like graphics. These are not gamers, these are tech enthusiasts. They want games to be a life like as possible.
Does MEA have some things that could have been better? Sure. Almost all games have something dumb. People were destroying fallout4 for the shitty dialogue choices. Great game.
For those of you that are having second thoughts, ask yourself this. Are you playing the game because you like pretty games or are you playing it because it's fricking mass effect? If it's the latter, get this game. If it's the former, go play Witcher 3 until you die.

The ME trilogy is a GOAT franchise for a lot of people. Expectations were perhaps a bit too high given the development hell this game has been under and the fact that it's an entirely new team working on it.

Yes, but auto cover and no control of squad powers is a MAJOR turnoff to me.

We can't have attractive men/women in video games anymore. It's too sexist.
Would anyone say that "High" settings on PC are the same or better than playing the game on PS4? High on my PC doesn't look as good as some of the videos I've seen of the gameplay.

For fricks sake I just realized you can't even equip your own squadmates. They use their own default weapons and everything. Jesus Christ bioware how did you make all these changes and think "this is good"
