There are some great games for WiiU.

Smash
DK Tropical Freeze
Super Mario
Bayonetta 2

It was worth every penny.

I haven't played an actual Mario game since Mario 64 (and that really hasn't aged well at all).

I've never gotten into DK. I liked OOT and Majora's Mask but haven't played a Zelda since.

Now, if they made an actual console Pokémon game for Wii U, I'd buy that shite in an instant. Ni no Kuni was about the closest thing we've had to that.

None of that Rumble shite.

I've gone in between wanting it and not wanting it. It's like portable Smash Bros, it's really a disappointment and the system itself limits its possibilities. Pokemon is perfect on portable consoles, but I'm not to sure about home consoles.

Plus there are all the older Wii games that you can still play on it.

I picked up Kirby Epic Yarn for $15 the other day and I'm really surprised at how much I've been enjoying it. It's kicked my cynical arse in the nuts with a level of cute that I did not think was possible to enjoy.

I feel like I would spend more money on the virtual console games than the actual games. I know PC emulators can do the same thing, but I just like having it right on the system.

Also, if they would release like a Mario Party collection of like the first five or something it would be a done deal

If made right, a console version of Red/Blue could be one of the best games of all time.

Pokemon stadium.

If they made a current version of that game on Wii u, I would buy one instantly.

I think so also and would make me go back to my middle school days to play the shite out of that. It would be just like any other JRPG basically

Mario Kart alone is a reason to buy the system.

The hundreds of hours of fun you'll have (if not thousands years down the road) is worth it.

It really is the best Mario Kart since 64. Just so many damn tracks. We're up to 48 tracks now, and wouldn't shock me if they have another pack coming out in a few months. They already have enough F-Zero, so I'd guess the next pack will be Kirby theme, since I don't think Metroid meshes well with Mario. Pokemon could also be enticing, but I think Kirby has the universe more suited for it.
