Unfortunately I am playing on my Mac laptop so that pretty much rules out most FPS. Really just looking for some entertaining games to pass some time while I'm at the parents house. Free or paid for games. Thanks

Mac OS X games

First one on that list is CS:GO. So there's your shooter

And on the right side you can narrow down the games even more. Looks like there's a really decent mac selection there.

And you can sort by "Lowest Price" and all of your F2P games will be at the top.

Q.U.B.E. is a really good puzzle game with an intriguing story that's free. Said story does sort of meh at the end, but it was a fun experience.

There are plenty of games on steam that most macs could run. Civ being one of them. A lot of source games can run at lower settings too (Portal, Counter Strike, Left 4 dead)

Can you install Boot camp? Way more games available if you can.
