Got the game for Christmas and just finished it today. This was my first Uncharted game and I really enjoyed it. Are the other Uncharted games similar and are they worth going back and playing?

UC2 is my favorite, then 4 and 3.

4 was great.

Are they similar in story and tone, however, 4 is the best that the gameplay has ever been by a mile.

IMO, the 1 and 2 especially, have not aged very well in terms of their gameplay.

I couldn't make it more than two hours into Uncharted 1 the last time I tried to play it.

I probably won't go back and play them then. Really don't like to play the PS3 anymore and I don't need to waste money on a game I may not like.

Uncharted 4 was great though. The story was amazing.

They're on PS4, the whole collection.

UC2 is still the best one. Shambhala was just amazing. My favorite city and area of the series.

2 and 3 have more epic scenes. They all have great stories, but 2 and 3 are more lin early. 4 probably has the best game play.

I would avoid 1 since I don't think it holds up well at all but 2 and 3 are still pretty fun.

Also, if you haven't played it already, check out "The Last of Us Remastered" on PS4. It's the game that Naughty Dog made between UC3 and UC4. It's a much more serious game but it shares a lot of the same DNA.

Was just about to ask was that game like Uncharted lol but you answered that. I want to try Last of Us and Uncharted 2 and 3. I'm low on extra money at the moment but I'll probably get one or two right now

Uncharted 2 is by far the best Uncharted game.

The Nathan Drake Collection (1,2, and 3) is only $20 and The Last of Us Remastered is only $20 on the PSN Store. I think I'll buy the Drake Collection right now and my next game will be The Last of Us

Why'd you play 4 first?

Heard it was a very good game and didn't feel like having to play through 3 games before it. I'm thinking of starting at 1 and playing all the way through 4 in order now

Weird fetish of mine is to scope out Twitch once in a while and watch people play TLOU for the first time. Love seeing people's reaction, especially women.

I'm always jealous of someone playing a game I've already beat for the first time.

Uncharted is a good series. 4 was the best IMO, but since I played through it I really have no desire to go back through it again. U1 hasn't aged well at all, but I'd recommend it at least for the story. The other 2 are just fine.

Just bought the collection. Can't wait to play them. $20 for 3 games isn't bad at all

First few were horrible, 4 was a step in the right direction

4 is actually one of my least favorite. It's highly polished but lacking on actual gameplay.

Hell, the entire Uncharted series is somewhat like that.

Very slick, very well made, highly polished, however in terms of actual "game" they are pretty light.

They're entertaining to play but just don't impress me outside of the presentation.

My son says he beat The Last Of Us today. He only played it hard for 2 days. I asked him to show me the percentage and it only showed 4% complete. How is that possible?

He's beaten story mode on lots of other games and it shows low percentages.

I've never played TLOU but I can only think of 2 answers: 1.) He thinks he completed it but truly there's more to the story that he didn't know about and play or 2.) There's a ton of objectives to complete or things to collect throughout the story that he didn't complete

IIRC, there are 147 collectibles and 36 or so optional conversations in TLOU. Most of them are easily missed.
